What is Ranger EV?
Ranger EV is a social payments platform that helps property owners (our Hosts) recoup energy costs from EV travelers refueling at their home or business. They do this by hosting an outlet or charger on Ranger EV, setting a suggested price per kWh, and letting guests report their energy usage while staying with them.
Seamless Guest Experience
1. Scan Code
Eligible outlets and chargers will have a QR code attached to them. Tap, scan, or enter station ID on rangerev.app
2. Select Energy Amount
Select the amount of energy you want to reimburse the host for and checkout.
3. Plug in and Charge
Charge your EV overnight and wake up the next morning with a full(er) battery.
Ranger Station Hosts
- Our guest-reported system works on any outlet or charger, regardless of brand or WiFi connection.
- Print and attach your codes to your outlets and guest-facing materials, and you’re all set to start recouping energy costs.
